THE ELEVATE YOUR IRAC METHOD

Are you studying long hours for the bar exam yet struggling to pass?

This may be your second, third or fourth time taking the bar exam. Most likely, you are doubting in your ability to pass. And embarrassed because everyone around you is passing the bar, even those who only studied for 3 weeks. You feel like you can’t start living your life until you put the bar exam behind you.

Despite working hard, you keep falling short. You wonder when it will be your time to pass. You are drained emotionally and physically. You have even started wondering if you are meant to be the attorney you’ve dreamed of becoming since you are struggling with the bar exam so much.

The problem is...

...your main bar prep course and other resources you’ve purchased focus too much on the MBE and not enough on the written portion of the exam. The bar prep system is flawed. You study long hours to reach an MBE accuracy rate of 85% but it always seems to be outside your reach. This keeps you from giving the essays and performance tests the attention they deserve. After all, they account for 50% of your score.

This is why many JD grads are struggling to pass the bar exam despite studying long hours and doing hundreds of MBE questions.

If you don’t figure this out, you will stay stuck as a JD grad who is struggling to pass the bar exam.

IT'S TIME TO DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY.

Most struggling bar exam takers make the costly mistake of following the plan laid out by their main bar prep course which leads to average scores on BOTH the MBE and the written portion but not enough to pass.

If this is you also, you may be wasting valuable hours listening to lectures and reading/re-reading outlines. You may be focusing too much on the MBEs and not enough on the essays and performance tests.

Spending most of your time on the MBE’s is the wrong strategy because it’s at the expense of your score on the written portion of the exam which accounts for 50% of your score.

Statistics nationwide tell the same story. According to the NCBEX, in 2019, only 58% of bar exam takers nationwide passed the bar exam.

The bar prep system is flawed. It’s not your fault.

I’m not telling you to burn your bar prep books or ignore the multiple-choice. But what I AM saying is your main bar prep course drops the ball when it comes to 50% of your score – the written portion. This means YOU end up dropping the ball too without even knowing it.

If you don’t get the proper guidance on the essays and performance test, you end up leaving serious points on the table.

These very points can be the ones to get you a passing score.

Focusing on the essays and performance test pays off because you have more CONTROL over your score here than you do on the multiple-choice. Here’s why. There are just too many variables on the multiple-choice that are outside of your control. If you don’t believe me, just ask anyone who took the February 2021 bar exam. They said the MBE’s were nothing like what they’ve seen in previous exams.

Listen, I understand. I made the same mistake you made the first time I took the bar exam. After graduating from The George Washington School of Law, I signed up for one of the main bar prep courses. I followed it to a tee. Despite spending long hours studying, I did not pass. I was embarrassed. I didn’t understand where I had gone wrong. I had never failed at anything in my life. I felt I let down my family and my boss who had always gone up to bat for me at the law firm where I worked.

This is when I realized I had to take matters into my own hands and do things differently. I knew I couldn’t follow the plan laid out by my main bar prep course. I changed the way I studied. I worked on communicating effectively in writing. And I worked on my frame of mind.

My method worked so well I went on to pass the bar exam in Maryland the next time around. Two years later, I used the method again to pass the bar exam in Florida. Two years after that, I used it again to pass the bar exam in Texas.

Now it’s the method the individuals I help are using to pass.

If you are wondering if this method will work for you, I understand.

Before working with Angie, she too was doubting in her ability to pass and unsure if this was the best method for her. She had tried it all. Now, she is one of the biggest fans of the Elevate Your IRAC method. She passed the October 2020 Massachusetts bar exam by boosting her score on the essays and performance test. In fact, she even started applying everything she learned to her assignments at work and received two promotions while studying for the bar exam. She was recently offered an attorney position in the in-house counsel department where she's worked all along.

Using this method, Sierra passed the July 2020 North Carolina bar exam. She stopped ignoring the written portion of the bar exam. She shifted her focus to the essays and performance tests where she had more control over her score. She wished she had learned to do this sooner! In the end, Sierra boosted her score by 12 points on the MBE and by 27 points on the written portion of the exam for a total score of 305. She passed the North Carolina bar exam with flying colors!

I hope to see you inside the program and celebrate with you when you pass the bar exam.

My promise to you is that after completing this program, you will impress bar exam graders with your answers so that you boost your score on the written portion of the bar exam and STOP falling short on points.

But don't just hear it from me...

"Yohanna gives priceless feedback on the essays and I've only seen my essays get better since using her method. I appreciate how she doesn't try to completely change your writing style but rather focuses on how to make things clearer and more concise for your bar exam grader."

Thanks to Coach Yohanna's method, I was able to raise my score significantly on the essays and performance test and pass the Massachusetts bar exam! Going into the exam, I had a method to implement that yielded me high points. I went from dreading the essays and performance test to enjoying them! I recommend her method to anyone who is feeling stuck. The only regret you will have is not learning the method!
